Senior Year

By Dreamboat Annie
I definitely can not believe that this is my final year of high school. It's so cliché to say this, but I really do feel like it was only just yesterday that I was a niner. I guess it is true that time really does fly by when you're having fun! haha.

So now the big dilemmas come... UNIVERSITY!
That has to be the biggest issue on my plate at the moment besides juggling my various activities. I'm so caught up with figuring out where I want to go. My top choice is obviously Ryerson for their Radio and Television Arts program, but I'm not very sure of myself, or even if I have a shot of getting in. The huge thing that I have to do is make a porfolio of my work. Another problem, I don't really have published works, and I've not really been infront of a camera. Which is why people ask me, "why even bother?" I believe that I have what it takes to be an actree, or a journalist. And I put so much faith in myself that I get almost too naive about it. Honestly, I want to just forget that there is a reality, and that everything is not always perfect in my world.

Anyways, It's bedtime (yes, I do enjoy sleeping on time)

xoxo,
holly.

Inbetween Worlds.

I'm quickly learning that my dream is not easy to acquire.
It seems as though I'm trying hard to be what I want to be,
but it just is not happening.

This world is composed of two very different kinds of people;
the rich and the poor, simply.
Unfortunately I have it the worst,
for being in the middle means that you are forgotten.
I mean all we ever hear about are celebrities, and dying people in third world countries.
When is the last time we ever heard about normal middle class citizens
?

I think that I prefer the security of being able to rant on here about anything I want without anyone complaining personally.
Not that I have that problem, seeing as I have 0 comments.

:)
I guess I'm just not that interesting.

Have you ever noticed that when you're on stage nothing mattters?

All your troubles seem to dissipate, and the sole thing you can concentrate on is yourself.

You think about what you're doing,
How you will look doing it,
How others react to it,
And if it even looks right.

When I am on stage,
I am there only for myself,
by chance it may please someone, or someones.
But I stress that it may be by chance.

I guess it's the one place i can fully be myself and not care what others think of me,
even if it's just for that insignificant moment in time;
that insignificant moment that is all mine.
